Ray Fraley, 78 of Langley, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, in Martin.

He was born June 26, 1934, at Drift, to the late Eugene and Edith Fraley Simpson. He was the husband of the late Mary Hicks Fraley. He worked as a general laborer and was a deacon for the Brush Fork Church.

He is survived by a son, Dewey Fraley, of Langley; one daughter, Rhodella (Michael) Martin, of Flemingsburg; and two grandchildren, Timothy (Amanda) Martin and David Martin.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 10, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Donnie Hackworth and Freddie Mullins officiating. Burial followed the service in the Hicks Family Cemetery, at Doc Allen Branch of Langley.
