Krish Potnis, 78, passed away at his home on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. He is survived by his wife Karen; an uncle, S.V. Chitnis; and many cousins in India.

He was born in Venguria, India, on April 16, 1934, to the late Shrinivas and Laxmibai Potnis. After attending Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai, India, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of New York, in Buffalo.

He retired in 2002, after more than 30 years of medical practice.

To honor his request, there will be no visitation services.
