Ella Ruth Hall, age 82, of Beaver, widow of the late Walker Revis Hall, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Beaver, the daughter of the late Walter and Nannie “Sissy” Jones Reynolds. She was a retired cafeteria cook from the Floyd County School System and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church.
Ella Ruth is survived by two sons, Kennith (Geneva) Hall, of Cynthiana, and Phillip (Tammy) Hall, of Beaver; three daughters, Buleah (Hayes) Hamilton, of Beaver, Wilma (Jim) Harris, of Onsted, Mich., and Connie (Todd) Goodman, of Banner; four brothers, Wendell Reynolds, of Albion, Mich., Ronnie Reynolds, of Betsy Layne, Glen Reynolds, of Jackson, Mich., and Donnie Reynolds, of Springport, Mich.; four sisters, Faye Finnitzer, of North Olmsted, Ohio, Pauline Newsome, of Elyria, Ohio, Loretta Riley, of South Carolina, and Mabel Martin, of Albion, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Reynolds, Emmitt Reynolds, Danny Ray Reynolds, Larry Reynolds and Waltust Reynolds, and two sisters, Emogene Turner and Augustine Cooper.
Funeral services for Ella Ruth Hall were held Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church, at Teaberry, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial followed in the J.W. Hall Cemetery, of Grethel, with Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
