Robert Allen Damron, age 65 of Prestonsburg, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1947, in Prestonsburg, the son of the late Jeffery and Grace Allen Damron. He was a real estate appraiser, realtor, retired CSX engineer, 2011 Kentucky Realtor of the Year, and past president of the Kentucky Board of Realtors. He was a member of Stonecrest Golf Course and the best dad in the whole world.
Robert is survived by a son, Sean (Stephanie) Damron, of Emmalena; a daughter, Robin Renee (Tim) Prince, of Prestonsburg; a brother, Michael (Lorena) Damron, of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Melinda (Frank) Harrison, of St. James City, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Kennedi, Kent and Dylan.
Funeral services for Robert Allen Damron were held Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Jim Savage officiating. Burial followed in Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
