Alex Carroll, 66, of Harold, widower of Beverly Carroll, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Select Specialty Hospital, in Lexington.

He was born on April 21, 1946, to the late George Carroll and Lucinda Kidd Williams. He was a retired military officer and a Vietnam veteran.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ellis Carroll, Randy Carroll and John Ed Carroll.

He is survived by two daughters, Amy (Jason) Przymuzala, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Julia Lynn Tiffany, of Bristow, Va.; grandchildren, Heather Tiffany, Kaitlyn Tiffany, Jennifer Tiffany, Mason Przymuzala, Miles Alexander Przymuzala and Deven Carroll; great grandson, Zachary Carroll; sisters, Della Hall, of Harold, Mary (Donnie) Hamilton, of New London, Ohio, and Fannie Mae Lawson, of Harold; brothers, B. (Mavis) Carroll, of Harold, Everett (Susie) Carroll, of Harold, Edgar (Faye) Carroll of New London, Ohio, John Paul (Marlene) Carroll, of Honaker, Cheyenne (Jenny) Williams, of Ohio, and Dennis Ray Williams, of Louisa.

Services were held Monday, Sept. 24, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin. Burial followed in the Parsons Carroll Cemetery, at Honaker.
