Betty Jean Bryant, 77, of Hi Hat, died Aug. 31, 2012, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 24, 1935, at Whitehouse, to the late Silas and Reecie Wheeler Bryant. She was a homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Dean Bryant, and a sister, Constance Arlene Bryant.

She is survived by a son, Randy “Hoot” (Jill) Bryant, of Martin; brothers and sisters, Gary Bryant, Lonnie Bryant, William Loyd Bryant, Lester Bryant and Nellie Bryant, all of Price, Lonnie Bryant, of Martin, Harold Bryant, of Lorraine, Ohio, Rowiena Willis, of Dayton, Ohio, and Cheryl Davis, of Albion, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Meghan Reece, Emily Nichole, and Connor Trace.

Services were held Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Pilgrims Rest Old Regular Baptist Church, at Price, with Old Regular Baptist minsters officiating. Burial followed in the Little Cemetery, at Price.
