Estill Shelton, 89, of Drift, died Thursday July 26, 2012 at McDowell ARH.
He was born March 8, 1923, to the late Charlie and Mary McSurley Shelton. He was a janitor for McDowell ARH and a member of Old Beaver Old Regular Baptist Church at Minnie.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Fred Shelton, Raymond Shelton, Jay Shelton, Chester Shelton, Eddie Shelton, Goldie Miller, Bertah Meade and Pauline Shelton.
He is survived by his daughter-at-heart, Georgia Kidd of Drift; a brother, Eugene Shelton, of Drift; and special nieces and nephews, Ricky, Devia, Brenda, Shane, Shawn, Terry, Allen and Jenny.
Funeral services were held graveside Friday, July 27, at Drift Cemetery.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
