On Sunday, state police said Casey Rowe, 21, was driving his motorcycle south along Route 119 in Belfry when he lost control of the motorcycle in a curve. Rowe skidded into the guardrail face in the northbound lane of Route 119, the police report said.
Rowe was taken from the scene of the accident to South Williamson ARH hospital, where he was later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper Jason McLellan, who was assisted at the scene by KSP Sgt. Randy Woods, Appalachian First Response Ambulance Service and the Belfry Fire Department.
