Christopher Patton, 34, was arraigned on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief and theft on Monday.
According to the police report, Patton allegedly caused damage of $500 or more by taking items from three vehicles belonging to tenants at Warco Housing on April 2, and video surveillance footage reportedly shows Patton going from vehicle to vehicle. One of the vehicles reportedly received $1,000 or more in damage. Patton was arrested on April 12.
Patton has an extensive criminal history, including charges of harassment, burglary, probation violations, possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication and theft.
According to court documents, Patton was sentenced to two years in prison on a third-degree burglary charge on March 25, but the sentence was suspended and Patton was credited with 374 days and placed on three years of supervised probation.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 21. Patton’s bond was set at $2,500 cash.
