Born April 30, 1945, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Dixie Jarrell Conn. She was a disabled LPN, and a member of the Sammy Clark Freewill Baptist Church, in Dana.
Survivors include one son, Charles Michael (Haley) Akers of Dana; three brothers: Ted Conn of Dana; Ricky Conn of Paintsville; and Azrie Conn of Michigan; three sisters: Thelma Thacker of Dana; Alma Kuntz of North Carolina; and Mavis Kranker of Michigan; and one granddaughter, Tabitha Akers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Delmer and Homer Conn.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 25, at 11 a.m., at the Little Salem Old Regular Baptist Church, in Dana, with Robert Shane Powers officiating.
Burial was in the Conn Family Cemetery, Akers Branch, in Banner, under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin.
Visitation was at the church.
