NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Eastern Kentucky native Brooklyhn Woods moves her way up the ladder in the world of music with an attention-catching newly released single and music video, “I Don’t Know Which Way To Go.” Within the last 90 days since the song’s release, Brooklyhn has received over 27,000 views on YouTube with her music video and interviews.
Inspired by her old Kentucky home, Woods continues the tradition of country music with her own twist.
“I especially admire Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn,” says Woods.
On a visit to Nashville, Tennessee, Woods caught the attention of Bernard Porter, President of America’s top artist development company PCG Nashville.
“Brooklyn possesses the ‘it’ factor,” says Porter.
Woods signed with PCG and has now released the single “I Don’t Know Which Way To Go.” This song, along with its video, encompasses Woods’ personality and style. It now has tens of thousands of views on YouTube.
Within the last 30 days, Woods has been onstage opening for big name country stars including John Michael Montgomery, Joe Nichols, Jamie Johnson, and Chuck Wicks. She also appeared as a talent judge for the Country Music Highway Road to Fame competition (www.CMHRoadtoFame.com).
Though her success has attracted a lot of attention, Woods is determined to stick to her Kentucky roots.
“I never want to lose sight of where I come from and the people who shaped me along the way,” she says.
It is hard to tell what is next for this up and coming artist from Eastern Kentucky, but it is no secret that Brooklyhn Woods is a star in the making.
