Denver Mullins, 55, of Prestonsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Riverview Nursing Home.

He was born May 14, 1957, in Magoffin County, to the late Clarence and Clara Conley Mullins. He was the husband of Darlene McCoy Mullins, a disabled laborer, and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Mullins and Betty Lou Mullins.

He is survived by two sons, Jason Curtis Mullins and Jesse Dean Mullins, both Prestonsburg; three brothers, Clarence (Myrtle) Mullins, of Syracuse, Ind., Marcus (Jeanie) Mullins, of Michigan, and Brian Kendall Mullins, of Salyersville; and four sisters, Jewell Rowland, of Paintsville, Dorothy Jean Bailey, of Salyersville, Brenda Sue (John) Johnson, of Prestonsburg, and Beth (Mike) Spisak, of Sarasota, Fla.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 28, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin. Burial followed the service in the Mullins Family Cemetery at David.
