GRAYSON - This time last year, Andrew Roberts was leading the Betsy Layne High School boys’ basketball team. Roberts was a leader for the Bobcats and after his prep career signed to play basketball in college. Now, Roberts is suiting up for the Kentucky Christian University men’s basketball team.

A freshman forward, Roberts has moved into a starting role for Kentucky Christian. In an 86-77 win over Boyce College on Tuesday, Feb. 12, Roberts scored 16 points, pulled down four rebounds and recorded three steals for the Knights. Roberts followed that performance up Friday with 10 points, four assists and three rebounds in a 91-72 victory over Crown College from Knoxville.

The Kentucky Christian men’s basketball team will open play in its regional tournament Friday night in Circleville, Ohio.
