Eagles knock off Johnson University

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Visiting Alice Lloyd College placed five played in double figures to defeat Johnson University 85-75 on Thursday.

The contest was close throughout the first half as neither team could get much of an advantage. Alice Lloyd led 36-32 at intermission.

ALC managed to add to its lead in the second half. Johnson battled back but was unable to overcome the second-half deficit.

Terry Muse led ALC (8-10) with 19 points. Tyler Rogers tossed in 17 points and Stuart Stamper posted 16 for the Eagles.

Isaac Wilson netted 13 points while Justin Hobbs added 11 for Alice Lloyd in the hard-fought win.

Muse and Rogers led Alice Lloyd in rebounding, rounding up six rebounds apiece.

Wilson dished out a team-high four assists for the Eagles.
