PIPPA PASSES - Sheldon Clark High School graduate Carla Booth was named the Alice Lloyd College Female Athlete of the Week last week. Booth is a sophomore guard for the Eagles.
On Friday, Jan. 4, in a KIAC women’s basketball game against Point Park, Booth was clutch as she scored 24 points while recording four assists and four steals.
Booth was solid in the game against Carlow University on Saturday, Jan. 5. She chipped in with 17 points. Booth was six of eight from the free throw line and generated five assists.
Booth was brilliant again in a game against Berea on Tuesday, Jan. 8. The sophomore guard produced 21 points and created three steals.
Booth is averaging 15.6 points, 4.3 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. She is 15th in the nation in assists and second in assists per game in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC).
