Jackie Branham Campbell, 92, of Prestonsburg, widow of Les Campbell, died Nov. 20, 2012, at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center, in Ashland.
Born June 15, 1920, in Prestonsburg, to the late Dick and Julia Wallen Branham, she was a homemaker and a member of Spurlock Old Regular Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Wess (Polly) Campbell Jr., of Prestonsburg; two daughters-in-law, Ellen Campbell, of Shelbyville, and Kay Campbell, of Cowen, Ind.; a foster daughter, Dawn Fraley, of Michigan; nine grandchildren, Dwayne, Joey, Tina, Kim, Rich, Chuck, Chris, Denise and Julie; two special grandchildren, Beth Shortridge and Craig Meade; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Campbell; two sons, Keith Campbell and Dickie Campbell; a brother, Taulbee Branham; and a grandson, Richard.
Funeral services for Jackie Branham Campbell were held Saturday, Nov. 24, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial followed in the Branham-Campbell Cemetery, at Town Branch, in Prestonsburg.
