ALLEN - Veteran Dirt Late Model driver Brandon Kinzer and his No. 18 Brandon Kinzer Motorsports raceteam closed out their version of the 2012 racing season on November 16-17 at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee. The inaugural running of the ‘Deep Fried 75’ took place over the weekend at DRRP. The feature race boasted a $10,000 top prize. Prior to the conclusion of the feature race, however, Kinzer encountered some trouble and was relegated to a 22nd place finish.

On Friday night, during preliminary action, Kinzer timed in third quickest in his group during the qualifying session and later won a heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in Saturday’s 75-lap feature event, Kinzer broke a shock mount early in the unsanctioned race. The mechanical mishap dropped him to a disappointing 22nd place effort.

Kinzer placed ahead of three drivers - Mark Fields (25), Bub McCool (24) and Corey Posey (23).

Vic Hill won the Deep Fried 75. Other final results from the $10,000-to-win feature race shaped up as follows: 2. Ray Cook; 3. Walker Arthur; 4. Dennis Erb Jr.; 5. Ross Companovo; 6. Josh Putnam; 7. Todd Morrow; 8. Allen Murrey; 9. Jay Scott; 10. Brad Skinner; 11. Joe Denby; 12. Daniel Miller; 13. Caleb Ashby; 14. Tim Busha; 15. Ricky Arms; 16. David Jackson; 17. Braden Mitchell; 18. David Seibers; 19. Jon Stinson; 20. Brett Miller; 21. Victor Lee.

During his latest season, Kinzer competed in races in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Indiana and Kentucky.
