Kinzer pushes or spot in Cotton Pickin’ 100

ALLEN - Allen dirt track driver Brandon Kinzer jumped behind the wheel of a Bloomquist/Roush Yates entry for Wells Motorsports on Oct. 26-27 at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. The unsanctioned 9th Annual Southern Belle Cotton Pickin 100’ was held over the weekend with a $15,000 top prize going to the winner.

In his first competitive laps on Friday night, Kinzer fought a loose racecar during qualifying and later finished sixth in a loaded heat race after missing on tires. Kinzer also ran sixth in his B-Main on Saturday, which kept him out of the 100-lap feature event. Jimmy Owens claimed first-place in the $15,000-to-win feature race.
