GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Pikeville women’s soccer season ended in high fashion on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win over Bob Jones University.

Sophomore Eleanor Hollingsworth found the back of the net for the second time this season off a pass from freshman Carmen Koster. It came at the 81:55 mark off Koster’s corner kick, tapping it in from close range.

The goal rewarded sophomore keeper Chelsea Schulte with a shutout, her third of the season. The native of Burlington, recorded six saves to keep the Bruins off the scoreboard.

The win gave the Bears the season sweep between the evenly-matched clubs. Pikeville beat Bob Jones 2-1 at home on Sept. 25.

Pikeville got 15 shots on goal, with Koster’s six leading the way.

The Bears finished the season 5-11.
