Lois Tackett, 77, Ft McCoy, FL, died Sunday October 14, 2012 at Monroe Regional Hospital, in Ocala, FL. She was born February 4, 1935 in Pikeville, KY to the late Coodler and Elkie Sysco Young. She was the wife of the late Bill Tackett. Lois was a retired janitorial worker.

She was preceded in death by one brother: James Young.

She is survived by her children: John Paul Tackett of Ocala, FL, Billy Reed Tackett & Ernest James Tackett both of Harold, KY, Ricky Dale Tackett of Ft. McCoy, FL, Lonetta Salisbury of Harold, KY, Pauline Hayslick of Blue Creek, OH and Lynda Joyce Tackett of Ft. McCoy, FL; step children: Michael Hall of Southgate, MI, Teresa Gail Hall of Harold, KY and Geneva Deseck of Selean, MI; one brother: Paul Young of Pikeville, KY; one sister: Joyce Roberts of Pikeville, KY; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 21, 2012 1:00 p.m. at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, KY. Burial will follow the service at Butler Hall Cemetery in Harold, KY.
