Ricky Dwayne Martin, age 49 of Dema, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his home.

He was born Sept. 10, 1963, in Martin, the son of the late Wayne Jr. and Judith Hall Martin and Wayne Sr. and Bertha Turner Martin.

He is survived by three brothers, Columbus Martin, of Teaberry, Ronald (Sylvia) Martin, of Dema, and Nicholas (Shannon) Martin, of Umatilla, Fla.; four sisters, Shelby (Charlie) Cassel, York Haven, Pa., Mable Hall, of Prestonsburg, Brenda Faye (Robert) Jacobs, of Pippa Passes, and Victoria (Matt) Haines, of Kendallville, Ind.; two nephews, Travis (Faith) Martin and Tommy Wayne Martin; two nieces, Tinika Martin and Taryn Haines; and a host of family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Charles Martin, and maternal grandparents, Johnny and Armina Mosley Hall.

Graveside services were conducted Monday, Sept. 17, at the Whitt-Martin Cemetery, at Dema, with Bobby Slone officiating. Burial followed under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, of Martin.
