ALLEN - Host Allen pulled away to defeat Allen Central 48-20 in the championship game of the Shag Campbell B-Team Tournament Friday evening.
Jana Jarvis paced the Allen A-Team to the championship victory. Jarvis poured in a game-high 22 points for the Allen A-Team. Kassie Jarvis and Reesce Endicott added 12 points apiece for the Lady Eagles.
Allen secured a lead in the opening quarter, separating itself from the Lady Rebels. The Lady Eagles scored first and never trailed. After carrying a 14-6 lead out of the opening quarter, Allen went on a 13-4 run in the second quarter to lead 27-10 at halftime.
The Lady Eagles remained in control throughout the second half. Allen led 37-16 at the end of the third quarter.
Hanna Manns rounded out the Allen scoring. Manns chipped in two points for the Lady Eagles.
Allen shot 42 percent (21-of-50) from the field. The Lady Eagles were six-of-18 from the free throw line.
The Allen A-, B- and C-teams captured Shag Campbell Tournament titles.
