Young to lead Kentucky AAU

ALLEN - Following the passing of Louis Stout, Henry Young, a resident of Floyd County for the past 34 years, has been appointed acting governor of the Kentucky AAU. Young is the director of American Tumbling and Trampoline Academy (ATTA), which is headquartered at K.P.T. Gym in Allen. He has been the Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky AAU for the last 12 years. During that same time , Young has served as the sports chair for tumbling and trampoline. Young was the 2006 U.S.T.A. Coach of the Year.


AAU is the largest amateur athletic organization in the state of Kentucky, featuring fifteen active sports. Young is the first Eastern Kentuckian to lead the organization.
