PRESTONSBURG — Highlands Health System’s President and CEO Bud Warman was re-certified as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. This signifies board certification in health care management.

The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare organizations. Re-certification represents continued achievement in meeting high standards of professional development and excellence as a healthcare executive. This also demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism in healthcare management.

Warman graduated from West Virginia University and earned a master’s degree in health care administration from Xavier University. Additionally, Warman serves as chairman of the Kentucky Hospital Insurance Corporation, chair of the Kentucky Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees, and member of the Floyd County Chamber of Commerce.

“I have been a member of the ACHE for over 25 years,” Warman said. “They have made a great difference in my career. Their educational offerings are among the best in the health care industry. The college also provides a great opportunity to network with other healthcare professionals, which allow you to stay in touch with the latest thinking in healthcare.”
