Clell “Joed” Williams, 66, of Wheelwright, passed from this earthly life Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center, in Ashland.

He was born Tuesday, Sept. 11, 1945, at Kona, in Letcher County, a son of the late Jake Edward and Viola (Sanders) Williams. He worked as a coal miner before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tresa Kaye Williams, and a son-in-law, Keith Hall.

Clell “Joed” Williams is survived by his loving wife, Marcella (Collins) Williams; two sons, Clell Williams Jr. (Pug) and his wife, Joann, of Lackey, and Hank Williams and his wife, Melissa, of Weeksbury; two daughters, Monica Baldwin and her husband, Bart, of Somerset, and Tina Jo Hall, of Morehead; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Charles “Monk” Williams, of Cincinnati; and a sister, Bernaldy Day, of Bypro.

Funeral services were handled by Roberts Funeral Home, of Robinson Creek.
