PIKEVILLE — Pikeville Police are on the lookout for man who robbed a liquor store Friday.

Police say they received notification that the panic alarm had been triggered at Skyline Liquors, on Town Mountain Road, shortly after 9 p.m. As police headed to the scene, they received confirmation from the alarm company that the store had just been held up and the robber had already fled.

Police learned that a man dressed in camouflage and a black mask walked up to the drive-thru, stuck a handgun in the window and demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured in the incident.

Officer Michael Riddle is investigating the incident as a first-degree robbery. He requests anyone information about the robbery to call the Pikeville 911 Center at (606) 437-5111.
