NASHVILLE - Danielle Tackett’s 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS earned a Platinum Certificate at the Music City Chevy Show 2012 on July 15 in Nashville. The father-daughter duo of Danielle and Danny Tackett have a long, successful history with the 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS.
Tackett’s car, which was grouped in the 1964 Trailered Custom Class, ranked as the only entry to receive 1,000 points. Classic Chevy International presented Tackett with the certificate of excellence. The show was hosted by Chevy Classics State Representatives.
The highly-competitive show included cars from as far away as California. Danny Tackett touted the show, saying, “this is as good as it gets.”
Danielle Tackett, a South Floyd High School graduate who works and goes to college, attends numerous local shows and several invite-only shows. Her 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS has also been in shows in Columbus, Ohio, Bristol, Tenn. and Charlotte, N.C. The car is consistently recognized and honored.
