CAMPTON - Veteran Late Model driver Paul Harris claimed another feature win on Saturday night, outlasting a crowded field to the checkered flag at 191 Speedway. The Wolfe County track hosted 16 Late Model drivers over the weekend.
Harris, a Floyd Countian who has registered hundreds of wins in his racing career, outlasted 13 other cars to the finish line in his latest outing.
The 191 Speedway Late Model feature final results shaped up as follows: 1. 10-Paul Harris; 2. 13-Jamie Ferguson; 3. 38-Derek Fisher; 4. 81-Brandon Fouts; 5. J11-James Butcher; 6. L13-Henry Lawson; 7. 11-Nicky Pennington; 8. 32-John Mulkey; 9. 15-Brian Pennington; 10. 48-Boone Salmons; 11. 11P-Dustin Pennington; 12. 44-Roger Stacy; 13. 24H-Michael Paul Howard; 14. 56-Chris Sweeney; 15. Matthew Hollins (DNS); 16. 14-Tony Stone (DNS).Other feature race winners were Jimmy Crabtree (Open Wheel Modified), Colby Taylor (Bomber), Deanna Noble (Modified Four Cylinder), Nathan Martin (Stock Four Cylinder Feature 1) and Leon Hurt (Stock Four Cylinder Feature Two).Harris will complete the remainder of the 2012 season by competing at multiple tracks.
