Reva Tackett, 65, of Harold, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at her residence.
She was born April 22, 1947, to the late Thomas J. and Carlie Akers Sturgill. She was the wife of Denver Tackett, and worked as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Gene Salisbury; a daughter, Jackie Lealynn Salisbury; a brother, Walter Franklin Sturgill; and a grandson, Ricky John Hamilton.
She is survived by a son, Donald J. Salisbury, of Harold; a daughter, Peggy (Richard) Hamilton, of Harold; four sisters, Margaret Wilson, Ethel Salisbury and Kathy Hall, all of Harold; and Lurlie Marie Kassab, of California; five grandchildren, Jackie Lealyn Bush, Jeremiah Hamilton, Marilyn Salisbury, Savannah Salisbury and Brittany Salisbury; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Bush and Salem Salisbury; and daughter-in-law, Norma Spears Salisbury.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 2, at Lower Toler Church of Christ, at Harold, with Joe Meade and Willie Meade officiating. Burial followed the service at Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
