John Michael Poe, 36, of Blue River, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 2, 1976, to Johnny Andrew Poe and Joyce Ann Bradford Poe. John Michael was a general laborer and was the companion of Sherri Stevenson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Flannery.
He is survived by one brother, Jamie Poe, of Blue River; a sister, Sherry Helton, of Salyersville; three nephews, Ryan Tyler Flannery, Chase Matthew Flannery and Jonathan Blake Poe; and two nieces, Laken Cheyenne Helton and Taylor Ann Poe.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Wednesday, August 1, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin. Burial will follow the service in the Bradford Cemetery, at Blue River.
