Raymond Deaver Mullins, 70, of Weeksbury, widower of Patricia Woods Mullins, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Hazard ARH Hospital.

Born Nov. 23, 1941, in Jenkins, to the late Clarence and Alice Haynes Mullins, he was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Osborne, of Harold, and Cecelia Stewart, of Elkhorn City; four brothers, Mitchell Mullins and Paul Mullins, both of Baltimore, Douglas Mullins, of Luray, Va., and Allen Mullins, of Edison, Tenn.; two sisters, Wanda Lombardo, of Toledo, Ohio, and Evelyn Thorne, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchilderen.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Ann Sexton and Sherry Rae Baker; two brothers, Arthur Mullins and Clarence Mullins Jr.; two sisters, Juanita Castle and Ruby Whittaker; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services for Raymond Deaver Mullins will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, at Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church, with Louis Ferrari officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery, at Weeksbury.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m., Monday, at the church.

Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, is in charge of arrangements.
