CAMPTON - Nathan Martin is becoming a regular in the 191 Speedway Victory Lane. Martin captured his sixth feature win in the 2012 season on Saturday night, prevailing in the 4-Cylinder Stock division at the Wolfe County track.

Martin, who previously helped the Betsy Layne boys’ basketball team capture an All “A” Classic statewide title and then signed with the University of Pikeville, managed to pull off a hard-fought win.

The Mud Creek-based driver won the first of two 4-Cylinder feature races. Gary Turner won the second 4-Cylinder feature.

Other feature winners were DJ Wells (Late Model), Keith “Jabber” Gray (Open Wheel Modified), Reggie Ritchie (Bomber) and JR Rice (Modified 4-Cylinder).

Martin, who also has developed a loyal following among race fans, remains out in front in the 191 Speedway 4-Cylinder points standings.
