Fannie Doris Conn, 71, of Prestonsburg, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, in Prestonsburg.

Born May 31, 1941, in Floyd County, to the late Joe and Roxie Calhoun McGuire, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Charles (Tammy) Conn and James Edward Conn, both of Allen; two daughters, Connie Woods, of Prestonsburg, and Brenda Lynn Conn, of Allen; and seven grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin, Charles “Bud,” Amanda, Ryan, Zachary and Tyler.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Henry McGuire, Leo McGuire and Charles Pete McGuire, and two sisters, Martha Burkett and Pood McGuire.

Funeral services for Fannie Doris Conn were held Saturday, July 14, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Bob Carpenter officiating. Burial followed in the Riley Hall Cemetery, in Allen.

Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangments.
