DWALE - Brothers Christian and Cameron Crider are enjoying their summer break, which continues to include go-kart racing. The Criders returned to action on an area go-kart race track over the weekend, competing at Mountaineer Kartway in Isom Saturday night. Christian Crider placed first in the highly-competitive Boxstock Blue Plate division. His young brother, Cameron Crider, finished third among 10-11-year-olds after advancing from the fifth-place position.

Previously, both Criders enjoyed success in the sport of motocross. The Crider Brothers, who are in their first season of go-kart racing, plan to race at Beechnut Raceway in Blountville, Tenn., during the upcoming weekend. The East Tennessee track will feature competitors from Tennessee and multiple surrounding states.
