William C. Snyder, age 67, of Hueysville, husband of Anita Conley Snyder, passed Sunday, June 10, 2012, in Richmond.
He was born Nov. 9, 1944, in Indio, Calif., a son of Freda Harrison Palmer and the late Claude Dave Snyder. He was an attorney, local soccer referee, past Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy and Posse Member, a graduate of the University of Louisville Law School and a member of Zebulon Lodge # 273 F&AM, in Prestonsburg. He also volunteered with the Foster Review Board, AARP, and served as a board member for the Kentucky River Community Care.
In addition to his wife Anita, he is survived by a son, Garrett Austin (Crystal) Snyder, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Morgan Danya (Christian) Wamsley, of Richmond; a brother, Rodney Snyder, of Wainwright, Okla.; two sisters, Lynda Hawes, of Chama, N.M., and Jean Padilla, of Indio, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Isaiah Snyder, Cayden Wamsley, Alexis Snyder and McKinley Wamsley.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m, Saturday, June 16, in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
