Slone receives diploma from Cumberlands

WILLIAMSBURG – Meghan Slone, of Prestonsburg, received the MAE degree in Read Write Specialist P to 12 during University of the Cumberlands (UC) annual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 5, in the O. Wayne Rollins Center.

This year, Cumberlands recognized its largest graduating class, 483 students, for receiving bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees. This graduating class was able to accumulate over 50,000 hours of community service during their tenure at UC.

Located in Williamsburg, University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees in more than 40 major fields of study; nine pre-professional programs; seven graduate degrees, including a doctorate and six master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
