Darryl Neeley, 53, of Prestonsburg, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 2, 1959, to Donald B. and Avonelle Hamilton Neeley, of Prestonsburg. He is the husband of Libby Ousley Neeley. Darryl worked as a coal miner electrician and was a member of the Prestonsburg United Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Branden Darryl Neeley, of Prestonsburg; one daughter, LaDara Neeley Rose, of Prestonsburg; one sister, Teena Spears, of Prestonsburg; and two grandchildren, Katelyn and Braedon.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 7, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, with Donald B. Neeley and A.J. Williamson officiating. Burial followed the service at Johnny Neeley Cemetery in Prestonsburg.
