HAGER HILL - Arm Drop Drags official Kent Rose has confirmed that he and others involved with the highly-anticipated drag racing event continue to work on the Combs Airport track this morning.

“Right now, we’ve got the blowers out on the track and everyone is working hard to get this event underway,” Rose said. “We’ve got cars and people on the grounds.”

Rain continues to fall in Johnson and Floyd counties. Officials and racers hope the rain will move out of the area soon.

Pop’s Chevrolet is the presenting sponsor for the Arm Drop Drags.

The Arm Drop Drags is scheduled to get underway later today and continue through Saturday.
