Michigan bowler signs with Pikeville

PIKEVILLE – A senior from Michigan has signed a scholarship agreement to bowl at the University of Pikeville.
Grant McNally of Davison, Mich., will continue his educational opportunities while helping the nationally-ranked UPIKE bowling team beginning this fall.
A member of the 2011 Flint Junior All-Star team, McNally is a two-time Big Nine First-Team pick who was also honorable mention one season. He has a pair of 300 games to his credit.
McNally boasts of a 3.95 GPA and a 26 on the ACT, which were good enough to have him on the academic all-state team and named to the High Honor Roll seven times.
He is a two-time DECA national qualifier, a three-time state qualifier and a Davison DECA officer. He is a board member for the Greater Flint USBC and was Big Brothers/BigSisters 2011-12 High School Big Brother of the Year for Genessee County.
Coach Kyle Wilson’s Bears finished tied for 13th in the NAIA Invitational Tournament this season and have bowled in five of the last eight USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.
