ALLEN - The Kinzer Motorsports team opened up its highly-anticipated 2012 season on Friday night, April 6 at the Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. The Chattanooga-area venue played host to an unsanctioned event with a $3,000 top prize. Veteran Dirt Late Model driver Brandon Kinzer timed in fifth-fastest in his group during the qualifying session. Kinzer later finished second in his B-Main to gain access into the feature event. After rolling off from the inside of the sixth row in the main event, Kinzer drove up to as high as sixth in the running order before settling for a solid eighth-place finish in his season opener.
