Berry Hall is on trial for allegedly shooting his niece, Lisa Tackett, and her husband, Alan, in front of their home in Prestonsburg.
Hall's trial was most recently set to begin on Sept. 26, but has been pushed ahead until April 2, more than four years since the Tacketts' deaths.
Hall also faces four charges of wanton endangerment for the Tackett's children, who were with them at their residence when Hall allegedly shot Alan and Lisa Tackett.
