The Mountain Arts Center commissioned local artist Randy Lawson to create two paintings which represent the commitment of its individual instruction teachers as well as the dedication of the students who study music and the other arts at the MAC in addition to honoring the contribution the arts have brought to the local region. The paintings, unveiled at the May Commission meeting, are on permanent exhibit in the Band Room located in the Arts Education Wing of the Mountain Arts Center.
