P'burg tops Paintsville, Betsy Layne

PRESTONSBURG - The Prestonsburg High School volleyball team posted a pair of wins earlier this week. On Monday, Prestonsburg went on the road and defeated host Paintsville 2-1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-20) in a hard-fought varsity match.

On Tuesday evening, Prestonsburg traveled to Betsy Layne and notched a 55th District win. Prestonsburg beat Betsy Layne 2-0 (25-19, 25-12).

Prestonsburg will return to the court Monday when it hosts Perry County Central. Betsy Layne will visit P'burg Tuesday for another key district match.
