Morehead State Athletics and Dugout Media partner in marketing effort

MOREHEAD - Morehead State University Director of Athletics Brian Hutchinson has announced that the department has formed an important strategic partnership with Dugout Media to market, promote and brand Eagle Athletics. The division under Dugout Media will be known as Eagles Sports Marketing. The agreement could extend through 2012.
"Dugout Media has proven through our earlier teamwork on the new msueagles.com and our athletics logos and marks that they are a multi-faceted and talented agency," said Hutchinson, a Louisa native. "They have also had tremendous success in event promotion, sales, and publications, and we expect that to translate into nothing but positive results for Eagle Athletics.
"They'll represent us in corporate partnership sales efforts as well as assist us in continuing to develop the athletic brand as a championship entity through design and publications work. We couldn't be more excited to form this kind of alliance."
Former Eagle baseball standout Scott Hacker is the President and CEO of Dugout Media.
"Our goal is to grow the popularity of MSU Athletics by creating unique ideas that are attractive to local and regional companies," Hacker said. "Given the incredible leadership team in place at MSU and the tremendous athletic and academic tradition at the University, we are thrilled to represent the Eagle family as Eagle Sports Marketing for what we hope will be a long, long time."
Dugout Media (www.dugoutmedia.com) is a specialized sports marketing and sales firm with business integrated throughout youth and high school sports, Minor League Baseball and several other sport and related businesses.
