He was born July 30, 1923, in Allen, the son of the late Felix Crisp and Etta Boyd Crisp. He was a retired oil salesman, formerly employed by McJunkins Corporation, an U.S. Army World War II veteran, and a member of the Allen Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Crisp, DMD, of Winchester; three daughters: Thursa Ruth Williams of Irvine, Pennsylvania, Margaret Hicks of Auxier, and Nancy Jo Cantrell of Divide, Colorado; one sister, Eula Spurlock of Allen; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Obie Crisp.
Funeral services for Ray Crisp will be conducted Thursday, February 3, at 1 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home, in Martin, with Clergyman Arnold Turner Jr., officiating.
Burial will follow in the Borders Chapel Cemetery, at Ulysses, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home.
Visitation is at the funeral home.
