Glenn Pack, age 84, of Milford, Ohio, formerly of McDowell, husband of Ruby Jane Turner Pack, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Mercy Hospital Anderson, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born June 18, 1926, at Drift, the son of the late John Pack and Jane Kidd Pack. He was a retired miner, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a member of the Old Beaver Regular Baptist Church for 56 Years. He joined the church in 1954, became an Elder in 1963, and served as a clerk and assistant clerk of the New Salem Association for 31 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven sons: John Thomas Pack of McDowell, Stanley Gordon (Jane) Pack of Georgetown, Ohio, Glenn Stephen (Vicki) Pack of Prestonsburg, Gary Douglas (Julie) Pack of Lexington, Alan Brian (Beth) Pack of Burlington, Mark Randall (Laurie) Pack of Georgetown, Ohio, Kevin Edward (Jennifer) Pack of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Ashley Michelle Marshall of Lexington; two brothers: Russell Pack of Drift, Albert Pack of Georgetown, Ohio; three sisters: Irene Pack and Barbara Pack both of Drift, Emma Wallace of Sarasota, Florida, and nineteen grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Sharon Pack; two brothers: Raymond Pack and Billy Ray Pack, and two sisters: Clista Taylor and Juanita Parsons.

Funeral services for Glenn Pack will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, at 1:00 p.m., at the Old Beaver Regular Baptist Church, in Minnie, with the Regular Baptist ministers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, in McDowell, with the Hall Funeral Home, in Martin, caring for those arrangements.

Visitation is after 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Hall Funeral Home.
