SALT LICK — A Hueysville woman was killed Monday in a single-car accident on Route 7.
Larrel Duncan, 63, was driving north around noon near Route 2929 when she lost control of her car. Coroner Greg Nelson said it appeared her vehicle left the roadway, went into a ditch and struck a rock embankment.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Nelson said Duncan was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Other passengers in the car were treated for injuries.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Bradley Watson is investigating the accident.
