Wanda Gayheart, 71, of Beaver, died on January 7, 2011, at her residence. Born May 25, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Ida Reynolds Gayheart. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Rex Gayheart.

Other survivors include two daughters: Carletta (Jeff) Hamilton and Carol Sue (Phllip) Hall, both of Beaver, one brother: Glennis Gayheart, of Beaver, two grandchildren: Whitney Nicole Hamilton and Brianna Paige Hall, very special cousin: Brian Newsome, of Lexington, five nieces and eight nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Audrey Gayheart and Cecil Gayheart, and two sisters: Kalenda Gayheart and Billie Little.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 9, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church, in Teaberry, with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiation. Burial followed at the Gayheart Family Cemetery, in Beaver.
