PORTSMOUTH, Ohio - Floyd County is being well-represented in this year’s Dirt Track World Championship (DTWC) at Portsmouth Raceway Park. At press time on Thursday, Floyd County Modified drivers Josh Stumbo and Kevin Hall were battling to qualify for the $3,0000 feature race, which had over 125 drivers registered earlier in the week. The highly-anticipated Modified feature race is set for Saturday.

Stumbo is a 24-year-old driver from McDowell. His racecar is sponsored by Stumbo Construction, Orca Coolers, Jacobs Towing, Base Racing Fuel, Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research, Sundy Best, Stumbo Family Foundation for Autism Research and Wells Motorsports. Dale Stumbo is the owner of the number 28 Modified.

Hall drives the number 43K car out of Wayland. His racecar is sponsored by Sebco Incorporated, Mobil 1 and Stumbo Construction.
