BETSY LAYNE - Allen Central junior guard Sarah Rife was named the Floyd Conference Player of the Year. Rife, who was honored Friday night, led Allen Central to the 58th District championship.
Allen Central captured the Floyd County Conference championship, concluding the regular-season 8-0.
Prestonsburg senior guard Caitlin Kidd was honored with the Eversole Award.
Betsy Layne (three), Prestonsburg (two), Piarist School (two) and South Floyd (one) were also represented on the All-Floyd County Conference Team. The entire team follows.
